Project Spotlight - AMLI Midtown Miami and Park West

Posted by Yellow Goat Design on 15 Jun 2021

We’re excited to spotlight one of our favorite industry sectors, Multi-Residential, over the next few weeks!  As “Multi-Resonators”, we will feature projects that speak to the design, history, and branding of high-end apartments and condos.  These creative spaces are memorable and “resonate” with the people who live and visit.

AMLI Midtown Miami and Park West Apartments are our latest showstoppers in Southern Florida.  We had the opportunity to sit down with developer Matt Thomson to chat about the projects and discuss the designs that delivered his bold vision.  Check out our video below to learn more! Check out more Multi-Res projects here.

We're excited to launch a new series where we take an in-depth look at the process behind our designs. In this episode of Behind the Design, Design Manager, Conrad Johnsson and Lead Designer, Kristina Albu, talk about the inspiration and process behind our new wood-based collection, Against the Grain. They discuss the different techniques used to make several of the pieces and how the design story was inspired by nature, computer generation, and handcrafted design.

Against the Grain, a new collection from Yellow Goat Design

Posted by Yellow Goat Design on 24 Feb 2021

They say when you reach a certain age you’ve officially “grown-up.” At YGD we eschew that theory. There is always room for new growth, room to push back against the ordinary and find the extraordinary seed within. With our newest collection “Against the Grain” we’re expanding our boundaries to explore new shapes and materials in design. This collection focuses on wood designs that go against the traditions of the material. These offerings in geometric and organic shapes, allow the viewer to see this material in a new way and leave them with a sense of wonder.
