Well well well, look HUE it is! One of our favorite chandeliers in Interior Design Magazine's Spring Market Tabloid. The Cut Outs is an imaginative acrylic chandelier that takes inspiration from the works of Calder, Miro, and the wild artistic inspiration that can be seen on the streets and in the architecture of cities like New York, Milan, and others. Built with acrylic pieces in primary colors, The Cut Outs can always be customized to create a signature look. Color, shapes, and materials are all open to interpretation. We are so proud to have another successful year of creating beautiful, inspiring work for your projects. Check out our project highlights for 2019 including our video project spotlights. This year we took things to a new level at our first BDNY and secured our (second!) win at NEWH Product Runway! Our CEO Carey Schuster participated in industry events including HD Elevate and was featured as “The Multitasker” in Hospitality’s Design’s Perspectives Interviews.

We introduced TWO new collections including our showstopping Ombre Experiment which showcases new techniques in digital and 3D printing. Some cosmetic changes to our website opened up a whole new way to look at YGD and featured more guides and resources to help your creative process. We were featured in a variety of publications this year and even got a shout our from the original G.O.A.T on Design Milk!

We are pleased to have our fixtures featured in 2 of the Interior Design Magazine's "best of" 2019 roundups! First we have our 8 foot dog sculpture at The Museum of the Dog featured in the Best Museums of 2019. You can learn even more about this project in our Project Spotlight. Big thanks to NEWH for featuring us in the Who's Who section of their Winter issue! We've had quite a year so far which has included visiting  Milan Design Week, winning BD West Fashion Runway (as well as winning "best interpretation of a theme" at Product Runway in NYC!), participating in BDNY and more! We had an amazing time at BDNY this past week in NY. The air was electric with design innovation and we were honored to be included as part of that buzz. We also had the added bonus of getting to visit with 2 of our favorite YGD designers Dasomm Choi and Kristina Albu. It was their first time to NY and the city provided loads of inspiration for our upcoming collection. We talked all about their design experience along with CEO Carey Schuster's as well as what's coming next, all from the amazing penthouse suite of the Ludlow Hotel (stay tuned for more!) So proud of our win for best interpretation of a theme at this year's NEWH Product Runway! We worked with Gloria Duque of Jacobs Connects and Autex to come up with a colorful and playful take on "Flamenco" one of the categories that was part of the Dancing Around the World Theme of the night.

Very excited to be featured in two recent articles in Restaurant D+D. The first feature is in a product guide to lighting with insights from Cooper Carry's Principal & Lighting Designer Anita Summers. This piece features our 90 Degrees light, a futuristic take on a distant galaxy. Our (E=) is featured in Restaurant D+D's solution center and easily solves the problem of great lighting design.

Our Tempered fixture is shown prominently in the design of Hotel X in Toronto featured in the January 2019 edition of Hospitality Design's buyers guide. Designed and built for Stephen B Jacobs group, this glowing swish is made of synthetic metal wicker and can come in an array of colors along with a warm or cool light option.
