Project: American Kennel Club, Museum of the Dog
Designed by Gensler NYC
Fabricated by Yellow Goat Design
Anything is PAWSIBLE in New York City, including the opening of a brand new dazzling museum devoted entirely to DOGS! The American Kennel Club's Museum of the Dog has relocated to a prime spot at 101 Park Ave in New York City and Yellow Goat Design has a prominently placed "doggie in the window" for all of NYC to see! Working with Gensler NYC on the design, Yellow Goat and Gensler went through several iterations (including mesh and metal rods) before settling on the iconic wireframe pup you see placed strategically at the forefront of the museum. The dog’s position gazing out of the window represents both the nature of dogs and stands as a beacon welcoming visitors to the museum. The powder coated frame can be lit with LED's to change the color and the mood (just like the empire state building!)

Very excited to be featured in two recent articles in Restaurant D+D. The first feature is in a product guide to lighting with insights from Cooper Carry's Principal & Lighting Designer Anita Summers. This piece features our 90 Degrees light, a futuristic take on a distant galaxy. Our (E=) is featured in Restaurant D+D's solution center and easily solves the problem of great lighting design.

A Little Magic was involved in creating these fixtures for Pimco in Washington, DC. They may look like your everyday design at first glance but when you reach the right angle...ta da! You’ll see the floor number magically appear in gold! Working with Wright Heerema Architects we created golden rods surrounded by suspended crystals creating the illusion of a waterfall and topped off with a mirror composite ceiling plate. See the magic happen in the video below....
